This Privacy Policy explains how I process the personal data of visitors to the nmbasketballagency.com website, players and representatives of basketball clubs. Processing is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”) and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data.

2. What Personal Data I Process
Players who send me their profile via the form or by email:
name and surname, contact details, date of birth, nationality, height, playing position, basketball CV, statistics, links to highlights and Eurobasket profile, salary expectations, and any other information the player chooses to provide.
Players I represent:
in addition to the data above, photographs, video footage, and data necessary to conclude the representation agreement and contracts with clubs.
Club representatives and other persons who contact me:
name and surname, club or organisation, position, email, phone number and the content of the message.
3. Purposes and Legal Bases of Processing

Providing personal data is voluntary. However, without basic information about a player, I am unable to assess the player or present them to clubs.
4. Who I Share Data With
- Basketball clubs and their representatives, only to the extent necessary to present the player, and only for players I represent or with their consent.
- FIBA and national basketball federations, where required by player registration and transfer rules.
- Technical service providers: website hosting and email services.
- Accountant and public authorities, where required by law.
I do not sell personal data or use it for third-party marketing.
5. Transfers Outside the EU
When looking for opportunities, I may send a player’s profile to clubs outside the European Union. Such transfers take place only where they are necessary for the performance of the representation agreement (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR) or where the player has explicitly consented.
6. How Long I Keep Data
- Profiles of players with whom no cooperation was established: up to 12 months from receipt, after which they are deleted.
- Represented players: for the duration of the representation agreement and thereafter for the applicable limitation period.
- Player profiles published on the website: until consent is withdrawn or cooperation ends.
- Communication with clubs: up to 3 years from the last contact.
- Accounting records: 10 years, as required by the Slovak Accounting Act.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- access your personal data,
- rectify inaccurate data,
- erasure of your data,
- restrict processing,
- data portability,
- object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- withdraw your consent at any time to the publication of your profile, e.g. by emailing info@nmbasketballagency.com. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal,
- lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic(Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR), Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, Slovakia, www.dataprotection.gov.sk.
I will handle your request without undue delay and within one month at the latest.
8. Automated Decision-Making
No automated decision-making or profiling takes place. I assess all players personally.
